The idea is as simple as it is delightful: print out four pretty templates (a butterfly, a little girl, a vase, and a snail), color them with markers, and then decorate them with freshly picked flowers. A true little land art workshop at a child’s eye level, combining an outdoor walk, coloring, and artistic composition.
Beyond the fun, this activity develops many wonderful skills: observation skills by identifying the shapes and colors of the flowers, fine motor skills by sliding the stems into the small holes, and patience for creating a harmonious arrangement. And the best part? When the flowers fade, start all over again with a fresh harvest.

Print the four template sheets on thick paper.
This step is very important, as the plugs will need to be pierced in order to insert the flower stems.
Using Maped markers , color the characters and illustrations in the colors of your choice.
Using a wooden pick, carefully pierce all the black dots present on the models (to be done by an adult).
These small holes will then allow the flower stems to be inserted.
Go in search of pretty flowers in your garden or during a walk in nature.
Insert the rods into the different holes in the cards to complete the illustrations.
Some advice:
The butterfly loves symmetry: alternate the colours and place the same flowers on each side of the wings for a beautiful mirror effect.
For the little girl, opt for large flowers to give her a magnificent floral hairstyle.
The vase loves generous flowers like poppies, or a cheerful multicoloured bouquet mixing several varieties.
Finally, the snail prefers small, delicate flowers to dress its shell: we chose bindweed, for an absolutely adorable result.
